Buttons!

If there is something that doesn't come naturally to me, it's buttons. (And the color yellow, but more about that another time.) So when TioT announced their challenge last Tuesday I was not altogether happy.
For me buttons are something you have, but don't make much ado about. I know there is incredible mixed media work out there with buttons and thread and pieces of fabric, in a very disorderly but lovely mess.
I made - and rejected - several attempts, but now I finally cracked it. Someone (just call her Mary)  has sewn a dress and is now trying it on, but...

... oh no, it doesn't feel right and it doesn't look right. A horrified gasp while Mary looks at herself in the mirror.
Voila, this was my buttons and sewing challenge.

    1. Thank you Chris. Yes, Mary is quite partial to pink gingham so she'll wear the dress no matter what. ;-)
