- wants to say: Happy Birthday!
I have a new piggy die (by Creative Depot) and an old four leaf clover stamp (bought in 2009 at Papersource!!) and now it was time to combine the two.
I stamped the clover once directly to the card and once on paper, then cut it out and adhered behind the die cut. I colored the clovers in with watercolors, and then some of the background. (Which would have been easier to do beforehand had I thought about it...)
The text is a die cut as well, green peeking behind the pink as a shadow.

ReplyDeleteGreat interpretation of the sketch, adorable, and love your piggy background. Doesn't it always happen you want that last embellishment to your card and you should have done it earlier. I often do that with stamping sentiments. Adorable and fun card. thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble, along with entering in TSOT and Retro Rubber in our previous partners for additional chances at our random draw.
ReplyDeleteAlice, what a cute card displaying your coloring talents! Great use of dimension to represent the three elements of our Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch. I also am a DT for Double Trouble and really appreciate you sharing your fun card with us as well!!! -Donna
