If there is something that doesn't come naturally to me, it's buttons. (And the color yellow, but more about that another time.) So when TioT announced their challenge last Tuesday I was not altogether happy.
For me buttons are something you have, but don't make much ado about. I know there is incredible mixed media work out there with buttons and thread and pieces of fabric, in a very disorderly but lovely mess.
I made - and rejected - several attempts, but now I finally cracked it. Someone (just call her Mary) has sewn a dress and is now trying it on, but...
... oh no, it doesn't feel right and it doesn't look right. A horrified gasp while Mary looks at herself in the mirror.
Voila, this was my buttons and sewing challenge.
