Onni itkettää / Happiness makes you cry

... ei aina, mutta ainakin kuvamme naista:

Does happiness make you weep? Our heroine seems to get very misty eyed when she sees a beautiful bird. She is happy to be alive, breathe in the fresh air and experience all the beauty - and she begins to weep.

Tein nämä P*skiksen haasteeseen, bingorivillä vaaleanpunainen - eläin - vihreä (vihreän ilmeisesti editoin pois tästä alemmasta naisen kuvasta, ylemmässä se näkyy).
"Kaksi onnellista" on soinut taustalla, vaikkakaan nämä hahmot eivät ole ihan samat kuin mistä laulussa kerrotaan. (Mutta mistä löytää raketin kuva!?) Näillä siis tällä kertaa mukana.

Background is gesso on cardstock. The structure in gesso gives the stamped image some movement. I reinforced some lines with a marker and some areas with pastel chalk. Stars are cut from a golden kraft paper.

Enkulin musiikkihaasteen tämänkertainen laulu on vaivannut minua koko kuukauden.  Kauan kesti ennen kuin sain inspiksen päästä kiinni.  Naisten hiukset ovat kuin puun oksat, ilman lintuja mutta tähtiä täynnä. Tämän postauksen ensimmäisellä kortilla (Kaikki mitä olemme...) osallistun haasteeseen.

June favorites / Kukka kaipaa valoa

Enkulin musiikkihaaste saa vihdoin vastauksen. Ihailen kortteja, joissa on käytetty postimerkkejä, sillä on todella vaikeaa keksiä postimerkille luonnollinen paikka. Tämä kortti haastoi siis minut monenkertaisesti! Pioni on kesäkuun lempikukkani, ja sehän ei kasva ilman valoa.

I used the leftovers from the Seaside projects to make this background. I stamped it over in white with my favorite swirl stamp, and then added blue flowers (again my favorite stamp!). Entering this also in Stampotique SDC 198: favorite stamps
